Lack of technology in the home is a downer...

So it has been extremely difficult to keep up with my ETSY site when I have no working computer in the home!  Definitely not good for production.  First it was the Dell then it was the Sony...laptops suck. 
In 2012, things will change and there will be many more fun things on the agenda for The Lucky Girl Boutique.  Updating technology with new tools will be fun and certainly productive...now if I can just find more time too!  My 8 hours of sleep is a neccessity to stay a "happy mommy"!

I've been busy making things for friends and family but have been very busy finding other fun things for the site!!  Lots of new ideas and materials coming soon!

Stress. Thoughts from the morning commute.

If bra straps are any indication of one's stress level, I would say my stress levels are pretty good.  You wonder what I'm talking about?  Well, I have noticed that my bra straps keep getting looser looser.  It didn't really dawn on me until today . It's Friday, and I'm feeling pretty good.  Jammin' to Uncle Bruce (Springsteen, for those who don't know me personally) with my boys.  I realized my shoulders are relaxed and I'm having a good time.  This tells me that I'm usually pretty tense.  But lately, I feel like I've been happier than I've been in a long time. Not for good reason, with self-imposed life stressors, the economy, finances it could always be a lot better.  But now more than ever, I'm focused on the real important things in life.  And if that is any indication of happiness or wealth I'm the happiest, luckiest and richest girl in the world.

July is here and we've got some pretty beachy blues and pink bracelets in the shop. We also have been working on some jewelry for special family events this summer.

Plenty of time with our toes on the water and ass in the sand this summer so look for what comes of our inspiration!

5 Hour Energy may be my new BFF...

I feel like it took all day to get things posted but had a blast creating my own thing!  Still have more bracelets to picture & post and the descriptions are not my thing.  Hopefully that will get better with time.  

Almost felt like summer today.  The boys were fishing in the pond.  Cookout and s'mores rounded out the night.  Now it's time to get the "itch-ies" off from rolling down the hill and hopefully an early night for the little ones!

It's coming together, pepper!

This is what my husband always says to me when we are almost finished with a project, usually a house project.  What I have done so far is about to be published but it doesn't help that the internet has gone ka-put and my computer has decided to commit electronic suicide...now it's hopping from one family member's computers to another to keep things moving.  Thank goodness for my Droid, I'd be lost without it. 

Oh well, my motto is everything happens for a reason.
